​For the first time, I'm looking today at a report that says, "There has been some speculation that Delta Plus may be more resistant to monoclonal antibody treatments, but it is too early to know for sure."

All discussion up till now has been about reduced efficacy of vaccines, and no discussion about a variant that causes reduced efficacy of a monoclonal antibody treatment. In addition, all discussion up till now has been about lenzilumab's ability to be variant-agnostic.

But on doing some digging, the mAb treatment in question is Regeneron's.

"The treatment uses a “cocktail” of two monoclonal antibodies (casirivimab and imdevimab, known as Regen-Cov in the U.S.) that bind specifically to two different sites on the coronavirus spike protein, neutralizing the ability of the virus to infect cells."

I also didn't know that Regeneron's mAb was designed for patients. "...with severe Covid who have not mounted a natural antibody response of their own." Since Trump received the Regeneron cocktail at Walter Reed Hospital, I wonder if a deficient antibody response applied to him.

But the point being here is that this could position lenz well ahead of Regeneron.

I've seen you write about VLA2001 on the IPIX board, but I haven't checked it out yet. I found the comments of Vanden Bossche and Malone to be pretty compelling in regards to the effect vaccines are having on causing the virus to evolve. What they say just reinforces my concern about pushing vaccines with unknown long term effects.

치료제는 코로나바이러스 급증 단백질의 서로 다른 두 부위에 특별히 결합하는 단종항체(카시리비맵과 임데비맵, 미국명 Regen-Cov) 2개로 구성된 '칵테일'을 사용해 바이러스가 세포를 감염시키는 능력을 중화시켰다.

Regeneron의 mAb가 천연 항체 반응을 일으키지 않은 중증 환자를 위해 고안된 것인지도 몰랐다. 트럼프가 월터 리드 병원에서 리제너론 칵테일을 받은 이후 부족한 항체 반응이 그에게 적용됐는지 궁금하다.

하지만 여기서 중요한 건 이게 렌즈를 Regeneron보다 훨씬 앞설 수 있다는 거야
